Kreuzberg Mini Guide in German

Since last week there is a new, bilingual — English-German — version of our Kreuzberg Mini Guide in the AppStores. When you start the app, the first thing you do, is to choose the preferred language. Later on the language switch is located in the info-screen.

The second great new feature we added to this version of Kreuzberg Mini Guide is the possibility for you to send us locations you'd like to be covered in the app. We added a simple form at the end of each location listing. Type name, address and a short description of the place and off it goes. We are thrilled to receive your messages.

Kreuzberg Mini Guide is a small companion for your Berlin-Kreuzberg tour. It covers places in the former SW61 (sw = south-west) part of Kreuzberg. You mainly find tips from the Apmato-team. Where do we go for lunch, which museums are located around our place to work, whats interesting to see around Bergmannstraße. Marie and Steffen build the first version of Kreuzberg Mini Guide. Since then we continuously update the content through our Apmato Content-Server or, like in this major update, upload a complete new version to the stores.

You can find links to the stores, a description as well as images of the app here.

Firefox icon with Apmato background

It also runs with Firefox

Yes, it does. Our last iteration brought Firefox support for ApmatoCreate. Firefox is now the third browser—apart from Chrome and Safari— that you can use with ApmatoCreate to build your apps. All existing restrictions have been removed.

When looking at the current worldwide statistics on browser usage, you see Chrome on top, then comes Internet Explorer, Firefox and Safari. In Germany, where most of our users are located, most people use Firefox (about 30%), next are Chrome and Safari with 25% and 17%. A good reason for us, to enable Firefox.
